Privacy Policy

1. What we collect
When you use runlit, we collect information necessary to provide the service:
- Account data provided via your authentication provider (Clerk) — name, email address
- Repository metadata: PR numbers, diff hashes, file paths, language tags
- Eval results: signal scores, grades, findings
- Usage data: timestamps, API call counts, plan tier
We do not store raw code diffs. Diffs are processed in memory, scored, and discarded. Only the resulting eval record is persisted.
2. How we use it
- Providing and improving the eval service
- Billing and subscription management
- Sending transactional notifications (eval results, billing receipts)
- Training and improving signal models — using anonymized, aggregated eval outcomes only
3. Third-party services
runlit uses trusted sub-processors to deliver the service, including providers for:
- Authentication and identity
- Cloud infrastructure and compute
- Database hosting
- Payment processing
- AI model inference
A full list of sub-processors is available on request at privacy@runlit.dev.
4. Data retention
Eval records are retained for 90 days on the free plan and 1 year on paid plans. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@runlit.dev.
6. Cookies
This site and the dashboard use cookies strictly for authentication session management (via Clerk). No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
